About Cafe Alma

Located in an 8,000 sq. ft. warehouse on India Basin's beautiful shoreline, Cafe Alma is named for the scow schooner that was built at the site in 1891, which today is a National Monument at the Maritime Museum of San Francisco and the last of its kind.

The cafe itself is one of a kind as well: It's a fun, quick serve restaurant that is also an event space, incubator for local chefs and pop ups, and a community anchor.
